Thalia: "So, tell the people how we met in your words."

Darius: "It was a clear, cold day in November 2021. My godbrother Tre and I were driving through Chicago, Ilinois from South Dakota to Florida and I was looking for something to eat. I pulled out my phone to find somewhere good to eat nearby on Instagram and stumbled upon one of your posts on the explore page. I said to myself, "wow, she's gorgeous and she says she likes to travel." You seemed pretty put together, so I thought I'd just start a conversation. I was still looking for something to eat though. "

Thalia: "I probably popped up because we had mutuals. I was living in Wisconsin at the time."

Darius: "I thought you might have some good recommendations in the area. So I sent you a message and we started talking, and it was history from there."

Thalia: "Well we didn't start talking immediately. You dm'd me on my travel page that I didn't use at the time so it took me a month to respond to your message. But your first message was asking me about Black Yacht Week (which I don't believe exists anymore), and I thought you were attractive, so I decided to keep up the conversation."

Darius: "I deployed overseas pretty shortly after that. We kept talking and developed a friendship over the next six months..."

Thalia: "Which led to letters and care packages. We went to Italy with Malachi, Tee, & Carter when you got back, and to make a long story short - 10 months later we were married. I quit my job, moved to South Dakota, and here we are!"
